Doctor Simmons received his medical degree at Cornell University Medical College in New York City and completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Tulane University in New Orleans, after which he completed two additional fellowships, one in surgical pathology at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and a hematopathology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. Doctor Simmons is officed at M Health Fairview St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, MN.
